I help families, couples, and multigenerational groups plan unforgettable vacations to Disney destinations and beyond.
Whether it’s your first trip or your tenth, I’ll take care of the details so you can focus on what matters most - time together, shared laughter, and memories that last long after you’ve unpacked.
Disney World vacations are amazing, but they are not for the faint of heart. Long park days, lots of walking, and nonstop excitement can wear everyone out pretty quickly. Strategic rest is key! To avoid cranky kids, tired adults, tense meal times, and short tempers, it’s so helpful to plan a few breaks into your daily itinerary.
And if you’re a savvy Disney parent, you probably already know the trick – disguise those breaks as attractions so your kids with endless energy don’t feel like they’re missing out on any fun. One of my favorite spots to do exactly that is Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor at Magic Kingdom.
Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor is easy to miss on your way to big headliners like Space Mountain or TRON, but it is a wonderful family-friendly attraction that is still very much worth a visit!
This comedy show in Tomorrowland is hosted by Mike Wazowski and other monsters from the world of Monsters, Inc. During the show, guests watch Mike and his friends hard at work collecting laughter to power Monstropolis.
The monsters tell jokes and interact with the audience, asking guests questions or responding to things happening in the room. Because so much of the show is improvised, no two performances are ever exactly the same.
The entire experience is about 20 minutes from start to finish, including the short queue and the show itself. It’s just enough time to sit down, cool off, and recharge before continuing the day at Magic Kingdom.
My favorite part (and I think one of the neatest parts of the experience) is when the monsters read jokes that guests submit before the show begins.

Before you enter the theater, you’ll spend a few minutes in the queue area. While you’re waiting, look for TV screens that display a code word and phone number. Guests can text their best jokes to that number along with the code word. These jokes are collected and may be used during the show.
If your kids love telling jokes, come prepared with a few before you get in line. Having something ready to submit adds an extra layer of fun to the experience and makes the whole show feel a little more interactive right from the start.

If you’re looking for a little inspiration, I rounded up some of my favorite kid-approved jokes that would be perfect to submit at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor.
Why can’t you give Elsa a balloon?
Because she’ll let it go.
Why did Captain Hook cross the road?
To get to the second-hand store.
Why did Woody give Bullseye cough syrup?
Because he was a little horse.
Why did Mickey Mouse go to outer space?
So he could visit Pluto.
What do you call Donald when he leads an orchestra?
A Con-Duck-Tor.
Why do people go to Disney World?
So they can get a little Goofy.
How do Ewoks contact each other when they’re apart?
Ewoki Talkies.
What do you call Chewbacca when he gets chocolate in his fur?
A chocolate chip Wookiee.
Why was the droid angry?
People kept pushing his buttons.
What is a monster’s favorite game?
Hide and Shriek.
What did the monster eat after his teeth were pulled?
The dentist.
How do you keep a monster in suspense?
I’ll tell you later.
How do you fix a broken pizza?
Tomato paste.
Why did the cookie go to the doctor?
Because he felt crummy.
Why don’t eggs tell jokes?
They’d crack each other up.
What sounds like a sneeze and is made of leather?
A shoe.
Want to hear a joke about construction?
I’m still working on it.
Did you hear about the restaurant on the moon?
Great food, no atmosphere.

Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor is one of those attractions that’s easy to overlook but ends up being a pleasant surprise for a lot of families. It’s funny, interactive, and a great place to relax for a bit and recharge before heading back out into the park. And if you come prepared with a few jokes, you never know – one might even make it into the show!
I know how truly special these trips are because I’ve experienced the magic myself. From my first glimpse of Cinderella Castle to the joy of watching my kids meet their favorite characters, these are moments I’ll never forget - and they’re my inspiration for helping other families create their own Disney magic.
The best Disney trips aren’t one-size-fits-all. They’re sprinkled with little details that make them yours. That’s where I come in! With expert guidance (and a touch of pixie dust), I’ll make your planning feel easy, exciting, and full of possibility.
